RIM is never early with Intellisync updates for new versions of Office. You'll either have to wait, or go back to Office 2003.

Are you using a hosted BES solution? They provide wireless sync of PIM data, so the version of Office should not matter.

Having said that, I have not tested BES with Office 2007.

I am able to synch my BB with Office 2007 running DM 4.2. If you haven't upgraded to 4.2 try that.

Triple check it off working with MSO 2007.

Not one problem yet and Office 2007 is sweet looking

I am switching from the Motorola Q to a Blackberry and I just want to make sure that it syncs wirelessly with Office 2007. How will I set that up if it does? Thanks

With the Desktop Manager software for the PC or BES if that's the route you want to go.

For wireless Sync for email, calendar and contacts, you need to be on BES. Otherwise, you use Desktop Manager to synch calendar and contact info and email is automatically pushed to the device using BIS. No email sync with BIS.

It's a separate service you subscribe to through a third party host. Examples include MailStreet and ExchangeMyMail. I use MailStreet and have never had any problems at all. Their customer support is excellent but the good thing is that I haven't even had to use them in a very long time; and the last time I did have to call them it was my fault not theirs. Others swear by EMM.

You're looking at about $12.95 for the base MS Exchange account, plus an additional $9.95 for the BES add-on service.

And, by the way, I have no trouble syncing my wife's BB with MS Office 2007. Running Vista and Desktop Manager 4.2 SP1. But it also worked prior to upgrading to SP1.

so is there no way to wirelessly sync my appointments, contacts, and tasks with the BB to my microsoft 2007? When I called the verizon customer service they told me that you can't. Souldn't the BB wirelessly connect to the computer? Isn't that the point of a BB, or is it just the email? Thanks for your help.

Default BB and MS 2007 (not)

I am absolutely apalled by the service I have received from rogers over this blackberry, rim and microsoft issue of being able to sync with Office 2007. Tech support advised me that I should contact the "Office of the President" . OK, I did as recommended. I was told that I was too small of a user to be concerned about. That is after inquiring about the use of BB for my business services and if there were options.

I am still in shock. This is not how I am treated a contract renewal time. So I need help! I have a BB that is now a lite paper weight. I can not sync with Office 2007 for my calendar and contact database. Are there options for getting BB to synce with Office 2007. Is there a work around?

I use Office 2007 on a Hosted BES (L2E). Not a single issue.

Office 2007 is probably my least favorite version to date. Complete memory hog, and I've got a 3ghz processor and 2.12gb RAM. Still stalls on me.

Using Desktop Manager 4.2SP1 I have sync'd with Outlook 2007 since SP1 was released. Try doing a clean install of Desktop Manager and see if that helps. I know a few people that have theirs working as well.

whenever everyone says "Office 2007", does it mean the Outlook 2007 only?
Otherwise, would someone really sync the documents from "Office 2007" to BB?

Not sure it's possible, and even if it were, there'd be no use. BB's can't do much with them if they don't have eOffice or another high-end 3rd party app.
