Default O2 Curve Unlocking

Please Login to Remove!

As I now have four different people trying to get the code for my O2 Curve and all have taken more than 72 hours (if you count unlockblackberry.org it is five) I have a question. Do you need an O2 sim for the process or can you do it without the sim? Who here knows?

We're in the same boat... The SIM should not be necessary.

Has anybody actually *gotten* you an unlock code yet?

No such luck with mine either. I'll probably be at an at&t store today picking one up (if they have them in stock).

MrUnlock.com in the UK looked promising but then came back early this week saying it was going to take another week.

Wireless Warehouse (212 639 9333) on 69th and Third Avenue in NYC will have units tomorrow AM. Locked to ATT. Call and ask for Monty. No price info yet but pricey. Already have one reserved. May have at 7 pm tonight. I have no financial interest.

How pricey do you think? Now that units are available direct from at&t they cant ask too much of a premium...

All of a sudden at 5:45 I got the unlock code from Ari Miller at unlockblackberry.org. Follow instructions for 8800 NO SIM CARD NEEDED. Works great.
