On my old cell phone I used to be able to hold down the * key for 3 seconds and it would put the phone on vibrate mode. Is there any quick or simple way to put the phone function on vibrate when you go to a meeting?

hold the # key for a couple of seconds

Two clicks gets you to vibrate profile; pretty fast and you can customize it to notify you only for the messages/phone calls you want.
