What type account are you using to email with? If it is a gmail account then you have to setup a filter so that it will not do the duplicate messages.

I have this same problem. Do I have to set up a filter on the gmail side or a filter on the BB side.

I'm new to BBs too and need to be walked through everything. My apologies and any help is much appreciated.

You have to go in and setup a filter on you gmail account under your BIS webpage. You just set the account filter to not forward the messages for the address that it is coming from. Hope this helps.

Now that was a fast response. Thanks, I'll give it a try!

You don't need a filter. Log into your BIS account. Then edit each email account and delete the Auto BCC.

I don't see an option to delete BCC. I just have a empty box.

I also think the BCC keep messages sent from the BB from showing-up in your email box.

I'm trying to prevent emails sent from my gmail from showing-up on my BB.

Does that make sense?

Gmail's a unique email implementation in that there are no subdivided folders. Gmail promotes searching for messages rather than filing of messages. The downside for BlackBerry users is that both sent and received items reside in the same place and BIS/POP cannot distinguish between the two. Setting a filter on the BIS account for the Gmail address will fix the problem.
