ok, so i tried doing some searching, but how do you actually find out what your vendor id is??

The following works with the Pearl. It may work with other models, but I have no experience with them to be able to say so for sure.

Hold down the alt key and type the letters R A C E, then let go of the alt key. This will bring up the Help Me! screen which lists the Vendor ID, Platform, Application Version, PIN, IMEI, and other info about the device.

At least on my phone, the Options>Status screen does not include the Vendor ID.
