Is there a way to keep outlook and the pearl to not sync all of my contacts . I have alot of information in outlook contacts that i don't care to have on my phone and would like to only transfer the one's i want to. Thanks for your help on this.

Create a 2nd folder in your Outlook, or a subfolder, and move to that folder the ones you don't want on your BB. If you are worried about space on your BB, don't. I doubt you are going to have that many.

Thanks for the quick response. How do i create a subfolder in outlook? And then i guess i need to change the settings in desktop manager so it goes to the new subfolfer?

no, keep desktop manager as it is. It will see you main contact folder and sync to it.

Move FROM your main contacts to the subfolder any contacts that you do NOT want on your bb.

In Outlook, in your main contact folder, click file, new folder, etc.
