Default Sent email folder. . .

Please Login to Remove!

Ok, first off, I spent the last 8 minutes punching all sorts of different search strings to look for an answer to a simple question. I think 8 minutes is an acceptable time to give up using the search function after not finding an answer.

That said, could someone tell me how I can go about looking at a list of email messages I have sent? I can do this with SMS and MMS, but I don't see a folder for sent emails. This is for my 8100 (if that makes any difference).

Apologies and gratitude in advance.

From the messages folder, press ALT + O (oh).
Remember, "O"utgoing.

See--8.5 minutes searching and you could have found it!

Hope that helps.

And I think that will show you ALL outgoing, including SMS, phone calls, etc.

Thanks for not flaming me.

I appreciate your help.

BTW, ATL-O only brings up my Phone Calls list.

hmmm

On my 8800 (OS 4.2) it brings up all sent items (phone, email, SMS, PIN).

On my 8700 (OS 4.1), ditto.

I am betting it does on yours as well.

On my Pearl, ALT+O brings up "Phone Calls" which appears to be a combination of the "Phone Call Logs" and "Missed Calls" folders.

Are you hitting Alt-O from within Messages or from the home screen?

it's possible that the Suretype devices act differently from qwerty BBs as far as sending the Alt-O command . . .

That's probably the reason.

Surely, there has to be a way to bring up a list of emails you have sent.

Pressing ALT-O from within your messages list on the 8100 merely brings up a Phone Calls list.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/3.1.7196/1690; en; U; ssr))

I just did the Alt O on my 8703e from the messages folder and it opened up a folder labeled "outgoing" and it showed all my sent SMS, emails and call log. I am on OS 4.1

Anyone that uses a SureType device, I'd love your input.

I go into my messages and click the trackwheel and select view folders and then select my sent folder.

The 8100 doesn't have this folder. There is an MMS Outbox and an SMS Outbox, but no sent email folder.

really? If you are in "Messages" and you go to the Menu-->view folder, you don't see a "sent items" folder?

Or you could go into Options --> general options and set "hide sent messages" to "no" and then rehide them after you find what you want... but you shouldn't have to do that.

You mean Suretype devices.
There are no non-QWERTY BlackBerry devices.
Even the Suretype models are QWERTY.

;)

You are correct. Now that you mention it, all devices are QWERTY aren't they.

Correct.

Just to confirm:

I am in my "View Folders" section.

There is *NO* "sent items" folder.

I am on an 8100, running x.64 OS.

There is notsent items folder (confirmation #2).
ALT + O in the messages folder brings up ALL sent messages, not just the phone call log sent.
