i finally got a data pack on my pearl, how do i setup my gmail like i did with my @rogers.blackberry.net, i want it set up like that, or do i have to do it through the browser OR do i just foreward it to my rogers.blackberry.net??

check it out. i like it cause you can archive, star, delete, send, do whatever in a quick little app. you can set it to refresh whenever or just when you tell it too, pretty neat

Also, you should be able to setup your GMail using the same method you used for your @rogers mail. Use the "setup internet email" icon or go to the Rogers BIS site and set it up there.

i have tried that and there seems to be errors, it shows on my computer that it is there but doesn't show up, and is there a place on the internet that i can check @rogers.blackberry.net?



the mail icon doesn't show up for my gmail account :(

No, there isn't. You can only view those messages on the BlackBerry itself.
Honestly, you should NOT be using that email address for anything. You're opening yourself up to a world of headaches once you start getting spam on that address. There's no way to stop it, and it will eventually happen.

As I tell everyone... DON'T USE YOUR @carrier.blackberry.net EMAIL ADDRESS! You don't need it. Just delete it and switch to GMail or Yahoo.

Try setting up your GMail using the BIS web portal for your carrier as John Clark mentioned.

It should be as simple as logging into BIS, adding a new E-Mail Account, and entering your GMail address and password.
