Default Deleted Music File Tags Still Show after reformatting

Please Login to Remove!

I loaded the BB Curve with ACC tracks by dragging and dropping from iTunes to the storage card via WIN XP Pro.

After my testing was complete, I then deleted folders and files I didn't want to keep.

However, the artist name, album name, etc. still appears in the Media player viewer on the BB.

I have already tried reformatting the card.

Suggestions?

the Media Player is VEEEERY slow in updating its selection for some reason... What I tested myself yesterday was, add a song via the Media Manager in the Desktop Software, disconnected the bb from USB... played the song in the Media Player then, deleted the song (NOT using the Media Manager on the computer)... When I closed out of everything and restarted the Media Player, the song I deleted still showed up, until I reconnected the bb to the computer, and opened Media Manager (Roxio)... then all was well!!!

give it a try

I am very scared to download the Roxio version of Desktop Manager. Not good PR on this forum.

wow, actually the first I've heard of the Roxio issue...

try a hard reset (battery pull) and see if that works... I cannot think of anything else... RIM should have put some kind of "Refresh" function in the Media list... it is VERY annoying!
