hi,

i got a quick question - on my pearl, it stays that i have 2 missed calls, but when i go into call log i dont have any missed calls? is there any way i can get rid of the 2 missed calls from the home screen??

This has been a known issue. It may take upgrading your OS in order to get rid of it.

did we ever figure out a fix to this? I'm getting the same +2 icon even after all my calls are deleted (from call log and folders). I would hate to do a software re-intall as that screws up my ent account and I then have to bug my IT dept....

Unfortunatly, it usually takes an OS update but try this. Go to Messages >Options >View folder >Phone call logs. Highlight todays date and select "Mark Prior Opened."

Thanks for the effort,, but this did not work...

What about doing something with app loader? Maybe deleting the Call log, then installing it again? Tell me what you think...

I wonder if clearing the Phone Call Logs would work. Make a backup of the BlackBerry and then go to Desktop Manager > Backup & Restore > Advanced. On the right-hand sidde, under Device Databases, scroll down and highlight Phone Call Logs, then click Clear.

If that doesn't work I would think that the only way to remedy the issue is to wipe the device and reload the OS.

You can try that....couldn't hurt. You can make a backup first, too, if you want.
