Default Most days email...some days no email

Please Login to Remove!

I am new to Blackberry but one thing I have yet to figure out.

Monday through Thursday I can receive email. Friday through Sunday no email.

Now, I'm sure it's a setting I can't find and my support team is lousy at responding to my requests. I've tried Auto on/off but I don't think that's it.

Is there such a setting and where do I find it?

Thanks.

I think you've been blessed, but on thur through sun, do you have other data services, or are they off too?

........ When your email seems turned off, and if other data services are not working as well, go to options > mobile network. Do you have a setting for data services, and is it off, or off when roaming?

First, thank you for your quick response. The best way I can answer your question is that no one else in the company is having this problem. I wish my own tech support would help but they are worthless.

I hope that information helps.

Here's the deal. It sounds like you are on BES. Perhaps your question would be better in the BES forum, but my questions are aimed at determing if data is being turned off on your blackberry during the thur-sun period. You need to answer questions if you want a solution.

If this Friday was the first time you noticed the problem of not receiving e-mail. I have the same problem. I called AT&T suport, and they called RIM support. RIM report they have a problem and they are tring to fix it. There system louses the PIN Number and devise numer of the phones daily. When you notice you are not receiving e-mail you have to log into your BB account and provide the PIN and device number. Once you do this you will start receiving e-mails. I have had to do this once on Friday, Saturday,Saturday, Sunday and Monday. They have no et on when it will be fixed, but AT&T and RIM is working on the problem.

sounds like you BES admin has put IT policies,,, either that or you have an IMAP/pop3 setup and you should have it set to "leave copy on server" if not your mail client is getting them before your BB... could have a mail redirector or auto forward? Meaning soon as you shut your pc down they are coming to your device..

i would ask your IT guys what the setup is.
