Default Transferring video to a Curve

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I have downloaded some music videos off of Limewire and am trying to put them on my Curve via the Media Manager but it will not accept them. Never tried to transfer a video before. Can anyone give me some suggestions please/thanks?

What version of Desktop manager are you using? Does it have the large Roxio Media Manager? I don't download from Limewire (for obvious reasons) so not sure of the formats and their compatibility.

4.2.2.12.

Yes to Roxio Media Manager. I don't have to use Limewire but any idea how I get music videos to my Curve?

Do you have the SD card? If so use the BB as a hard drive and transfer them that way. Its easier.

Yes I have a 2GB card but when I try to transfer a song it won't do it. My question is, what program can I download videos from, that will allow me to transfer them to my Curve via Roxio Media Manager?

It doesn't matter which program you download the movies/videos from. What matters is which format they are in.

ROXIO will accept just about any format. I just did 400MB DIVX to my BB 8300 it worked great. it is skipping a few frames here and there, but it worked fine.
Following that I did another one, i think XVID this time, it also worked fine. It is slow to format, though.

I downloaded a music video from Limewire and it was Media Player I guess and it didn't work.

mpg I think but not 100% sure as I since erased it. Could someone please just post a site that I can download music videos and drag and drop them into my media card via Roxio Media Manager?

Thanks
