im new to tmobile and would be grateful for responses or advice .
1.presume 8320 can do voice over wifi? does one HAVE TO get a tmo @home plan to use 8320 via wifi for voice using my home and office networks? will only getting their service prevent deduction of mins?

2.is there r skype, google talk voice and any SIP Client for bb?

3.does tmo unlock bb easily especially after the new congressional ruling ?

4.can one do DUN and reverse DUN via wifi or bt on the 8320?

5.finally only in terms of keyboard which is better 8320 or 8820?

1: yes it can. without H@H voice via wifi will take minutes. With it you will have unlimited use via wifi.

2: I have seen this for skype: IM+ for Skype :: BlackBerry :: Products

I dont know if anyone has tested it on the 8320 with wifi

3: That depends on how long you have been a customer. What congressional ruling are you refering to? Are you refering to the library of Congress opinion that phone unlocking is exempt from prosecution under the DMCA? Because that is hardly relevent to your situation.

4: I dont know. wifi dun is highly unlikely though. BT will probably work.

5: Depends entirely on your preference. Try both side by side in a store. Better try at an at&t store, tmobile doesent have the 8800 in stores anymore.

1: I dont think so. It should be able to do a wifi data connection without a local sim.
