I'm getting a jvm error 102. Can't boot my 7100i. I have a vista laptop and have no idea what to do. I need my blackberry up and running or i'm a dead man.
any help would be appreciated.

You will need to wipe your blackberry and reload all of your phone software and THEN restore your backups (You DID backup your blackberry at intevals correct?)

This JVM errors are common to the 7100i for reasons I dont know.... Trust me I have to do this every blue moon but the phone is highly reliable.

but, i'm not concerned about my applications or anything, i just need to receive my emails. And my phone was forwarded when it died so I won't receive any calls on it either. I am so screwed.
How do i wipe it if i can't even get it started?
Can I take it to a local Telus dealer and have them do it for me?

I'll give it a try. do you know if this will work with vista?

It should. One trick with Vista, though, whenever you install a program, right click on the file to install and select "Run as Administrator."
