Just FYI - we think we might have found the issues with some people's devices. Developing for BlackBerry is very nice, but we're still learning some of the ins and outs of different OS versions and their effect on development. We should have something to push up to you guys in the next few days (we want to test a bit more).

At least on our 8800 it seems to have solved the issue with any crashes. Now the issue with it sending 50% of the time we *think* is a BES limit on file sizes, but this build *may* help. Please let us know. One thing to also test - see if short sending works and long sending breaks. That would help us determine any limits that we may need to enforce.

Trying again to send the email and got "Transaction error - bad format" - (8300 Curve Orange UK)

Removing the application caused an 'application error' and required a reset!

It appears to work now in AMR mode but not PCM mode. I prefer PCM b/c it will play on the Blackberry in this format when I send it to someone. Otherwise the person must go back to their desktop to hear it in AMR. Also, where is my option to email the voice note to different people? I changed the email address in options to my address so they all come to me. Does not appear to be a choice to send to other people. Thank you.

Also in AMR, it is cutting the last couple seconds off the recording, even though the entire recording was under 10 seconds.

They are looking at PCM, there may be some file size limitations in play, and PCM files are not compressed, so stay tuned.

The app is designed to send a quick voice note to a single e-mail - like you think of something while driving, you can record it and e-mail it to you're e-mail address to act on it when you won't risk life or limb. You could also set it up to send it to an assistant, if you prefer, but it's not intended to e-mail notes to different addresses.

Ok, thanks for the explanation on how it was intended to be used. It all makes sense now. In the setup, there is an option for "play sound" It does not appear to do anything on my unit.
