'Blackberry' data is included in your tariff, (subject to fair use policy!) - includes email, web-browsing and Yahoo Messenger through 'Blackberry'. However, everything else, (not through 'Blackberry'), will cost you £1 per Mb

I was under the impression that the BB package covered all data/web-based usage, but not provider network traffic like SMS/texting to non-BB connected users. (I have three separate plan packages on my billing: Voice, BB, and messaging.) Of course, different countries may regulate such things differently.

Jury is still out!

I fear the worst personally....

See what happens when I get my bill!

A little bird told me BB was going to point users to a new version of Opera in the next few weeks...with a link to download it posted on the BB site.

I notice I am unable to set Opera as a default browser...(????) So if I get an email with a URL its the BB browser that used to look at it... any clues how to fix that?

That you cant do only the BB can be used as the default and only the BB browser can be used for downloads

Thanks

With the browser set to "no images" (for faster page load speeds) and no downloading.. It might not be costing me a lot then..

here's hoping.. !!

It would, but my understanding is that as it goes through the providers data connection rather than through 'Blackberry', it is not covered within the tariff - ie use the 'Blackberry' browser (ugh!) and it's included, use anything else and it isn't. Of course we pay OTT for everything in the UK!

Instead of gambling on if you get charged or not and end up with some outrageous bill, why don't you just use it a few times and wait for the next bill and know for sure?

Can you not login to your O2 account online and view details since last bill or something similiar? By the way, you have your model under your name as a 3800

All good points..

Thanks

The no images thing just helps page load speed (and I dont need em to do my stuff)

most of the pages I am loading are 40k in file size..

Thats not going to break the bank I will try the on line log in.. good new from Ireland..Hope that not just the luck of the Irish!
