Super Consumer Thumbs Must Hurt Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: California Model: 8830 PIN: device used for fastening objects or material together Carrier: Verizon Posts: 59	T-Mobile BES & BIS Outage? Please Login to Remove! There are about 20 people in my office that have reported that they are getting a data connection refused with lower case 'edge' including myself. I am in the Los Angeles area. Has any heard anything about this? Thanks!

I had to turn off/on the radio for data to come back. T-Mobile said they weren't aware of any issues.

Carrier: Sprint Posts: 1,199	back up here as well, but i think that it's interesting tmobile said they weren't aware of any issues because they told me an hour ago that there were issues. the rep mentioned riverside and los angeles before i ever said where i was from.

Sally - we have over 100 T-Mobile BBs in NYC with no reports of outages. Have you tried popping the battery out and back in?

Tried resending service books, etc., and even they are getting through only very sporadically. No luck on any of it. I'm waiting for my call back from T-Mo now. Argh!

I just decided to try BlackBerry as my main phone back in June and have had one model or another since then and keep hearing about, or even experiencing, outages. This is not confidence inspiring and is part of the reason I still have my other line, with an MS Exchange capable device running on it, so I have access when issues with my main phone arise...even though it has only happened to me once.
