Hi,

I am new to balckberry development i downloaded the blackberry jde from internet and installed it in my system. When i try to run sample applications/projects that are already there in jde they are throwing some Uncaught Exception and show a console saying Source code not found. I am running them through buildall&run option in build menu of ide.

Also i am starting blackberry desktopmanager while running the project still it says same. I am setting one active project in that sample workspace as it contains many sample applications.

Please hlep me in getting going on this.

check your JAVA_HOME & JDE BIN Env

Hi,

I checked out the ENV parameters both JAVA_HOME and JDE bin are given out correctly.My java programs are working fine. What else should i look out for.

Please help me out.

I'm really not a big fan of the default RIM JDE, use Netbeans instead. Jonathan H Fisher - Blog has a good tutorial on setting up the NetBeans IDE to use the RIM jar files for compilation to the BB device. Blackberry Development using Netbeans
