Incidently, we are also the developer of the NewsGator Go! for Blackberry, and if you are having issues, we'd be happy to try to help you with them. Email me directly is probably best at Jmaroney at freerangeinc.com

What are the main differences between FreeRange and NewsGator?

On my 8130, the space bar definitely doesn't page down in the articles, nor does any other key, which is very disappointing. This was my primary reason for preferring FreeRange over Viigo, since FreeRange has a functional page down on the 8130. Hopefully Viigo will eventually fix this problem.

Downloading Viigo as I type this. I've been looking for a decent RSS application for a while.

In Viigo, if you load the full article, the space bar will page down. If you are looking at the feed, there is no page down.

True, but I don't want to have to load full articles in order to page down. Paging down in the regular feeds should be a standard function in any RSS reader. The fact that it doesn't work on the 8130 is probably a bug. I've contacted Viigo support to report the problem. Hopefully they'll resolve it with the next minor release. In the meantime, FreeRange is working great for me.

I used FreeRange for a long time until posts here convinced me to try Viigo. I have not gone back to FreeRange.

I agree -- was just pointing out where it actually does work. Would be nice to have a page up too.
The navigation in Viigo is a bit strange to me. The 2/T/Y key is next article and the 8/B/N key is the previous article. These seem backwards.

I have only used Viigo, but from what I have just read here, there is no reason to try anything else.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8100 Pearl: BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)
I have to go with Viigo. But with upgrading to the Pearl, I do like catching feeds on the BB Browser.

I really like Bloglines with Bloglines for Blackberry. I've just started to use Viigo and I have to say I like it but I like being able to configure my rss feeds on my computer. Also, starting to try Google Reader, haven't made a decision yet.

I am a BIG fan of Bloglines. Love the integration between Desktop and phone. I read it on my phone it shows as read in bloglines on my desktop and vice versa. 90% of the websurfing I do on my Pearl is through Bloglines.
I don't like the BB Google Reader app. It just randomly pulls headlines from all your feeds. I like to have my categories and ALL my feeds on the go.

I know most people in this thread have praised Viigo, and I'll admit it's a great app. However, I prefer the NewsGator and NewsGator Go.
I'll admit that NewsGator Go has some flaws. Most notably, no embedded images. However, the combination of NewsGator and NewsGator Go one has major feature that Viigo is lacking -- sync'ing between desktop and BB.
When I'm in the office, I use the online version of NewsGator to read my news feeds. Then, when I'm on my BB, the only stories that come up are the ones that I haven't read yet. The reverse is also true.
That was my biggest gripe about Viigo. I hated the fact that I'd read stories on the desktop, only to have those same stories show up on my BB while using Viigo. If I've already read it, I prefer it to not show up on the other platform.
Also, unlike Viigo, NewsGator and NewsGator Go allow you to "clip" articles that you want to save to refer to later, and your "clipped" articles sync between platforms as well.
Several people above have mentioned that Bloglines and Berry Bloglines do the same thing. This is true, but I think the combo of the NewsGator programs is cleaner.
