Default Change outlook deafult email, synch crashes?

Please Login to Remove!

I have several email addresses in outlook and I recently changed the default. Now when I try to synch the blackberry it crashes. If I uncheck contacts and synch everything else, all is good.

This happened last year and I changed contacts synch to "none", rebooted, then changed to outlook and selected the folder. Doesn't fix it this time?

Any ideas why it does this? Any ideas for next steps? (No, uninstall and reinstall is the microsoft helpdesk way)

Thanks, Peter

It sounds like one of your contacts is corrupt and the Intellisync can't correctly read the data. Does the crash happen as soon as you hit synchronize now or a bit into the sync?

If so enable advanced logging as described in the KB article below and send the logs to me. I'll tell you which contact is giving you the trouble if this is the case. PM if you want my email address.

Other KB's that could be useful.

How can I tell if it is a calendar or contact that is corrupt and which one I have to delete? Thanks.
