I had a Pearl early last summer and I had a bluetooth puck and was trying to use that GPS service that costs $10/month (I forgot name, but its popular).

Anyway, there was a lot of bluetooth disconnect problems and they were known issues (from reading this forum...)

Are there still problems like that or has it been resolved?

TeleNav? is that the one you are referring to? I havent had any problems with an external PUK on my 81xx series devices

Yup, Telenav! That's the one...

Anyway, I remember also that there was a new version of Telenav, but the new version wasn't for the Pearl... It was only for the 8800 at the time. Are the versions of Telenav now the same on the Pearl, Curve, and 8800?
