Welcome to the forums, shawn.

A great place to start is the BlackberryFAQ site - there is a link in my signature.

use the stickies at the top of the General BlackBerry Discussion - BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community, General 8300 Series Discussion - Curve - BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community, and then read through the Main Page - BlackBerryFAQ.com. That should take care of most of your questions. As to specific ones, try BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community - Search Forums these boards first and then if you dont see an answer to your question, post it in the appropriate forum. A good way to start learning the device is to run the setup wizard.

and of course, welcome!

Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Welcome to the group, shaun-y718. In addition to the pointers above, the help app on the blackberry is good, in my opinion. Best thing to do is just play with the blackberry, drill down through all the menus, and see help or blackberryfaq.com if you need to look something up. And if you don't find what you need, ask away here on the forum. Good luck.
