hmmm... My advice, if you have Third Party apps installed on the device?

1. Make a complete backup of your existing.

2. if you sync to Outlook or such, do that fully.

3. Use this:
http://www.blackberryforums.com/rim-...arty-apps.html

4. Restore from the Backup, ONLY those databases, etc,, you need.

5. Complete the Third Party App restore

Check to make sure everything you need is there, if not restore more from the Backup.

Re-sync data from Outlook of other database if needed.

good luck.

I'm switching from an 8800 which was on a BES to an 8320 which will not be on a BES. I have lots of third party apps. I assume you would suggest the same method and not to try the switch device wizard.

Yeah, try not to use the switch device wizard. You don't want to transfer any IT policy over. Also, I would uninstall Desktop Manager and reinstall it for BIS only use (no BES.)

That's what I figured. Thanks.

Always good to have a blackberry project to do.
