i found a wap site that lets me download midi tones. I go to download one and my phone says unable to open file. any help or maybe a diffrent website

Could you describe precisely what you're doing to download and open the midi file?

It should go something like this:

1. Click midi file link.
2. Midi player opens.
3. Press play. It plays.
4. Click save button. Should save to a ring tones folder.
5. New tone should appear in the tone list under profiles.

Maybe the midis you found aren't encoded properly.

yes i open the link and it says unable to open link. But i do not think i have a media player in the phone

That sounds like a broken link on the site you're surfing. Care to share or PM the link so someone else could test it?

Yeah, there's no full blown media player on the 71xx. My 7100t had a mini player for midi's and such when surfing sites.
