you have to go into your options and register your bb to the network...

go to options-->advanced options-->host routing table-->find a HRT, hit the menu key and "register now"...you will get a registration message sent to your phone, open it up and you will see the message saying the phone is registered...

after your bb has been registered, go ahead and link the new device to the BIS and you should be all set..

Good Luck!!

Sounds like the device was used on another providers network and never released from the BIS setup. Was it your device previously, or did you purchase it? If you bought it, try to contact the seller and have them release the PIN on their BIS account.

The device is brand new ... still in a sealed box.

But because im not buying it from a store, i wanted to make sure that the device would work on my BIS account.

this has happened to me before, once you register the device, you should have no issues with the BIS..

Hi there,

I have the same problem. Unfortunately the "solution" doesn't work w/ me. In case someone else have different solution, let him share it w/ me. Tnx.

...moreover I do not see the gprs symbol in capital letters, which gives me the idea that there is s'tg wrong with the service.
