First off hello everyone

im new to the mac

Im having connection problems with my 8830.

Heres what i have

Mac OS 10.5.2
blackberry 8830 WE ( CDMA) with alltel service tether plan added

i can connect via bluetooth however i have issues with the connection. My phone seems to lock up.

I tried the phone when running bootcamp with XP and it runs without any problem.

it seems to be happening with anything that uses a good amount of data. If i try to download a 2 meg file it will start and the connection just seems to freeze.

same with youtube. ill get about 2 seconds then nothing else but in xp it will work without an issue.

i have tried the different scripts that are already on the mac and the ones that do work always seem to have the same issue. currently using other/CDMA EV-DO

am i missing something?

i did see information on setting WWAN use for the modem but didnt see that option in 10.5.2.

Hope i was able to give as much information as you need.
