Default 4.5 OS on my AT&T 8310

Please Login to Remove!

I have installed 4.5 OS on my AT&T 8310 and after several reinstalls I was about to give up and say itxxx8217;s just a beta OS and go back to the old 4.2 But just buy chance I took out my 2GB ScanDisk Micro SD card and left it at work ardently the whole time the SD card was not inserted in the phone it worked like a champ and as soon as I put it in it locks up and I have to pull the battery out to get it to do anything. I have read on other post that the 4.5 OS is compatible with larger SD cards will work. But a 2 GB was supported with the old OS now isnxxx8217;t working anymore. Well it works but not with locking up after a few seconds. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I installed the beta, i have the 2gb sd card also and i had no problems at all. The only complaint i have is my empower does not work anymore. and html support on the beta is not available (funny thing is in the menu i can toggle between text and html but nothing happens).

if you read through the release information that RIM has posted, the official information that is, HTML support requires a BES upgrade or a carrier BIS upgrade

I would definitely wait until the official 4.5 is released. There is no telling what problems you may encounter.

Well, BlackBerryForums can't offer support nor it's users due to the simple fact that this OS hasn't been officially released. If it were officially released then that's another story, sorry. Good Luck!

Posts like these keep happening because people are tired of waiting! Starting to remind me of the old Palm Pilot OS that never came.

I know it will one day but people want it now.

problem is, without leaks and stories people wouldnt even know it was coming out. living in the age of technology and people get more impatient for things they wouldnt otherwise know. be happy that we know what is coming, what features I mean
