8703e disappearing calendar entries!
Please Login to Remove!
I've searched and searched but can't seem to find any info on this. I've been suspecting lately that some calendar entries have disappeared on me. Today, I confirmed it. I made an appointment on 3 different occasions for 5/26 and it disappeared every time! Sometimes it would take a few minutes, but it always disappeared. So, to test it out, I made a "test" calendar entry for the next 8 mondays. My monday test entries after Mon may 5th disappeared. So I made test entries for every day the week of the 5th. Repeatedly, all test entries after 5/5 would disappear after a short time.
Any ideas? Called vzw and they were useless, suggested I have a battery issue, wtf???

Are you also losing any messages or call logs?? If so, you may have a memory issue. Go to Options, Status and check your file free space...If it is low you can start to lose messages and call logs, not sure about calendar entries, but it's worth a look.

I don't think I've lost any messages or call logs. I even went in and deleted all call logs and messages and it still happens. Currently I have 58720256 total and 29679168 free.

I'm BIS and they delete at some time in the minutes after I've created them. I haven't tracked how long it takes for them to disappear, but I have checked immediately after creating the entries to confirm that they're still there, and they are.

I think you're right, just went into settings and it's set @ 4 weeks. I still don't undrstand why it would erase entries tho?

you have it set so it is unidirectional, from gcal to BB, and probably the server wins. so anything other than whats in gcal wont show on the device. change to bi-directional and handheld wins and you shouldnt have the problem.

Wow, that was weird, unnerving, and totally aggravating. I started keeping paper record today of appointments more than 3 weeks out! I didn't think I'd ever figure it out. Thanks Sith.
