Default Web browsing on the 8120?

Please Login to Remove!

On the T-Mobile web site it mentions “Enhanced” web browsing on the 8120. How does this differ from the 8100? Will flash sites or you tube work on it?

Thanks!

Flash no, Youtube, yes.

And WiFi, which is the main reason that youtube will work.

ok, so then what's enhanced about it? Or is it just marketing fluff? Too bad, if they figured it out on the iPhone a year ago you would think BlackBerry would have caught up by now...

It's a new browser, it is enhanced from the older pearl series, and it does stream YouTube videos (regardless of what the poster above states).

Are you streaming, or saving on tinytube? I got the same error message when clicking on the stream link.

saving and then clicking "open" instead of actually saving... as you point out, the stream link there also doesn't work.

by pressing "save" and then using the "open" link it buffers and start playback before it is fully downloaded, which is essentially streaming ...

I'm also receiving "The protocol specified is not supported by the handheld. Please try a different URL." when attempting to view a m.youtube video via my WiFi connection. Any help would be appreciated.
