AT&T had the 8310 refurb model for $1 yesterday, with a two-year contract

They're attributing it to the iPHone, but quite frankly I think the release of the Bold is also playing a role in the pricing. Could mean we'll see it soon.

Wirelessly posted (8703e)

My wife's company is buying her an iPhone. I am hoping that they will hold out until the Bold comes out.

I will be converting from the Verizon network....sorry, Dawg.

Nice. Just after I buy my BlackBerry this past Sunday. Maybe I should return it and re-buy it and get the cheaper price.

I don't know. I bought it from a good friend of mine who works for at&t. I guess I could call him and ask if he could do that.

I got my Curve from AT&T last week for $49.95. Verizon wanted $495 because I was only in my 8th month of the contract. With the early termination fee I was still ahead of the game. Where I use my phone AT&T and Verizon have about the same service.

Check into getting out of your contract since VZ recently changed their terms. Read this: Early Termination Fees: Verizon's New Surcharge For Calling Mexico Means It's Contract Cancel Party Time?

Got my Curve for $49.00 from VZW and free overnight shipping with an early "New every two" upgrade. Wasn't due until September but my friend gave me a number to call in Ohio for the "special promo" so they gave it to me.
