This is annoying me and its not in the manual. I have a Sprint BB Curve 8330.

There is a symbol or notification that looks like a circle with a gold star in the middle and a number 1 next to it.

Can anyone tell me what this means?

A blue circle, possibly like a globe? That would be a browser or wap push message.

Check your Messages folder > Menu > View Folders > check both Browser or Wap Push messages.

omg it means I have a message through Blackberry Messenger and it was a message from my Supervisor LOL.

I went to messages and found it thanks J.

Thats what I thought it looked like at first but then it looked like a star. I dunno I guess thats why I wear glasses haha. But it was yellow so yeah it was a smiley.

I beleive a little red star appears over the smiley face when you receive a new message (someone you aren't currently in conversation with)
