Default Media Player with ANY grandularity

I play multi hour Mp3s.
All must be started at the beginning.
No fast forward either. (I have to listen to commercials on my BB, only)
Currently I hack around this by cutting the MP3s up in small pieces of 15 minutes.
A hugely time consuming fix for sloppy/lazy programming.
I guess RIM saved a buck. Apple's going to tear RIM up.

I would like to be able to bookmark long audio files, so I could easily start up again from where I left off.

Four things come to mind:
  • A shopping list application - something like HandyShopper on the Palm/Windows platforms
  • Ebook reader options beyond MobiPocket - something that can handle the Palm "doc" format or derivatives, for example, possibly as an extension of local HTML document viewing. An interesting alternative might be a local-only web server feeding files from the SD card if the browser can connect to 127.0.0.1/localhost. Opera Mini, etc. would be out because they feed everything through their proxies.
  • A desktop application to configure Profiles. I'd like to change things to have Loud/Normal/Discreet/Vibrate/DoNothing, but I don't want to spend hours customizing each one by scroll-clicking every little nested event's options.
  • Shared Task Management - This would mostly have to be server-side and could probably be done via browser. Basically online support ticketing.

There is one called SplashShopper which is good. I use to have a Treo and I used HandyShopper.

Default what i would love...

is something like an alarm, except it doesnt ring an alarm, it just automatically restarts the blackberry. something that would trigger soft reset. So that you can set it to do it everyday at say 3a.m. when you are sleeping and so you dont have to worry about memory leak and deleted calls and messages. I'd love that!

It almost sounds like a Task Scheduler, which would be a very cool thing.

Backup to memory? I'm sure that IS possible, in least the data such as contacts, emails, etc...

That and once a while whole device backup will make bb file loss nearly impossible.

I always wanted a really simple program that gets GPS location and emails it to email address I set when bb gets a special email with keyword. For example, I send an email with word "SendMeWhereYouAre" word in it to my blackberry address and it just replies with gps location. That would be very nice program to use if I somehow lost my blackberry.
