I do not want to see the WHITE trackball. Can't they make it another color so that it doesn't turn yucky after a while?! But it's too late, because it is white....oh well.

I don't wanna see a pricetag like the iPhone had when it came out. I want it to go for max $250 with a 2 year deal. The free 8100 deal in 06 from Amazon (new Tmob customers only) was the sweetest deal in phone history. If only ATT could match that I'm there!

I'd like to see a component that blows up your device taking your hand with it if you try to install an iPhone theme on it!!

Some rumors show the Bold 9000 will see for $300 with a 2 year commit. That is excellent.

The 9000 as it will be released is not the same as the description in the original press release, from what I've heard. The battery is now 1500mAH; it was announced at 1250. And by the time it's out, I bet those RIM engineers tweak the consumption rate into how'd-they-get-it-so-low land.

That said, you can probably look at the current models for hints. WiFi takes a small toll on the battery, as does Bluetooth - running the GPS takes a bigger one - long backlight time-outs and extensive use of the video camera with light or the media player out loud are probably also good for an early trip to the charger.

So I got myself a couple of small devices - Tekkeon MP1550 and MP1800 - that can keep me running no matter how long the damned airport delay gets.

I don't want to see:
1.Poor battery life.
2.Poor build quality. No creaky side rails please!
3.Dust under the screen.

Painted on "chrome" finish that chips off. Did so on the top of the Pearl and had to chip the rest off. If the outside is like that, it will look like crap in a hurry.

I don't want to see early adopters saddled with a crazy price tag or a buggy device (8100, 8800).

I don't want to see a data heavy device run on a data plan that has not been modified to reflect said device! (200 Meg Plan on Rogers)
