So I have text messaging / voice service.

I was finally able to get online using wifi, and was wondering
can I setup my gmail account with my blackberry and have it download my messages using wifi, rather than paying 19.99 a month for web access from t-mobile?

What about the gmail application? I'm not sure how he'd get it on the blackberry cause it may only be OTA download, but doesnt it allow for normal TCP ?
