I am evaluating the program now using the trial version now and have a question about future upgrades. How do you know when a new upgrade comes out? Can you check for updates within the program or do you just have to watch forums like this to know when a new upgrade is available?
Thanks,
Tony

Are you saying, "Check their website or forum whenever you want to know if a new version is available" or are you saying "Their website has the answer to my question"? You can see how your answer could be a little vague.
Thanks in advance,
Tony

So far I'm liking it. Very customizable. However, I can't seem to find a way for it to alert on all incoming emails to my specific work email account. Any idea on how to make a rule to accomplish this?

When you create a rule, in the "Sender" field, just put "@<workdomain>.com".

And in case Micheal-G's answer wasn't quite what you meant, on that same screen is the "To Account" field, where you can put your email address or domain.

Thanks. But the problem is that I get emails from multiple agencies. All with different domains. And not all of them are addressed to me directly. They are 'broadcast' messages addressed to groups of recipients rather than to individuals. Looks like I'm going to have to make a rule for each one of them...

Any annoying information screens such as those seen with IDX and TDX?

I have been running AlertMatrix for a while now, and with the last couple of updates, I now have a "blank" AlertMatrix Notification screen.
Well, it is not quite blank, the header on top with 'AlertMatrix Notification' is there, the Buttons are there (to Dismiss, Snooze, etc.), and the little flag icon, envelope icon and speaker icon is there but no text, such as who the email I'm being notified about is from (or whatever it used to have there).
I am running 2008.06.09.42. Any ideas as to what is causing this? The application itself is working fine, notifications happen when expected, etc., but for some reason, that alert screen is blank.

Have you changed your Theme recently? There is a problem with the with the AlertMatrix (and Todomatrix) notification screens interacting with some Themes like iBerry.

You are indeed correct. Just now, I snoozed a Notification and switched to a stock BB Dimension Zen theme and the notification displays properly. I snoozed it again and switched themes back to a custom one, and the notification is blank again.
Thanks for the info. I didn't put 2 + 2 together as I didn't get a new theme and update AlertMatrix on the same day but I also don't have that many notifications set so days could have gone by before I got a notification popup.
Now to decide... theme or notification...

AlertMatrix 2008.06.19.42 for BlackBerry is available for download
Hi Everyone,
We have posted a new update to AlertMatrix.
Here's the detail for version 2008.04.19.xx:
- Don't prompt for dismiss if alert was already dismissed via opening of the email source.
- Implemented "opened" linking for emails. If a person opens the e-mail in the normal BlackBerry e-mail inbox, AlertMatrix will understand that the e-mail was viewed and dismiss the alert.
- Implement "opened" linking for missed calls. Selecting the missed call from call log will dismiss alert.
- Change Alert Dialog to detect certain dark themes and adjust the background colors accordingly. Also add a profile item to force the dark theme in cases where the theme is not detected correctly.
- Move "Alert dialog" option to Alert (was in Preferences in previous versions of AlertMatrix). This allows the user to specify an alert which does not trigger an alert pop-over dialog.
- Improved Reply to PIN message capability.
- Cancel noise on any keystroke or navigation click when Popup is displayed.
- Enhanced injection of missed calls from the messages folder (RIM added as a new BlackBerry feature in 4.3 OS).
- Fixed issue: Alpha-numeric sender for SMS not getting caught.
- Fixed five minor issues regarding injection.
Use your BlackBerry browser and download from here to upgrade or try -

Have a great weekend,

Ok, I downloaded this but I cannot find these what screen are the settings on and what are they called? Or, is this automatic and you don't need to set it?
# Don't prompt for dismiss if alert was already dismissed via opening of the email source.
# Implement "opened" linking for missed calls. Selecting the missed call from call log will dismiss alert.
Thanks,
Tony
