Talking HTML Emails - up and running! (Telenor in Sweden)

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone,

My provider must have upgraded their BIS servers overnight since I am now receiving HTML emails with anything coming through the BIS.

I am using Telenor in Sweden (but am an AT&T customer at heart). I am using v4.0.5.42 on my 8310. Any other European carriers switch over yet?

The HTML emails load up but they won't load the images unless you ask it to retrieve them. Comes up with a warning "Downloading internet images can expose your address. Continue?"

Gmail emails are a lot easier to read now too!

That's correct - it just started working by itself. Everything is peachy now. Even my responses to GMail don't end up being 50 million pages long, annoying all of my fellow GMail readers.

Does this new upgrade allow you to compose emails in HTML as well, or only view them in HTML natively?

Only view them in HTML natively. Your email responses will be in plain text, but it will preserve the HTML formatting of the original email.
