I just found this website providing JAVA based software www.GETJAR.COM just wondering if it was reliable, and if it the programs would work with my 8130..
I got a Periodic Table from that site. It seems generic - that is, it is not tailored to the BB or its screen - the table only uses a portion of the screen. I've seen the site mentioned by others so I gather the programs can work but some might require testing - download/install and see??????
Most of the stuff on getjar.com has been written for Java Mobile Edition and is not specific to the BlackBerry. A lot of the applications will work and a lot of them will not. It's going to come down to trial and error to see if they work.
