i buy a .cod file from a company and their is no RIM JDE installation in my BB, Then how can i install that applciation.
Please Suggest and send me the installation process

I developed an J2ME application, Converted it to .COD Extention. Now when i install this application on to a simulator on my PC it is working fine. But, when i sent this file to my client with following instrucation,

your Blackberry connected to your computer via USB and from the command line (again make sure you're in the RIM JDE installation directory) type:

javaloader -usb load $your_app.cod

But in this instrucation user did not have any "RIM JDE installation directory" , and he does't know much about computers,

Please suggest me how can i install that .COD file without java enviornment

The problem is, your assuming that your customer has the BlackBerry JDE installed and has access to JavaLoader. I would do something simple like create a zip file with everything they need. The zip file would contain your COD file, JavaLoader.exe, and a batch file for the customer to execute.

My batch file would look something like this, nothing fancy.

javaloader -usb load $your_app.cod
PAUSE
EXIT

There are 3 ways to install an application:

1. Desktop Manager - ALX and COD. To get the ALX in the JDE select 'Project'->'Generate ALX File'.
2. OTA - Put the JAD and COD file on a web server. Point your browser to the JAD file and select 'Get Link".
3. Javaloader - Developer tool to quickly load a standalone COD file (javaloader is part of the RIM JDE in the BIN directory).

ok I am at a loss I can see the bb dimension today theme in the handheld modules sreen but i cant find it in theme section what am i doing wrong?
please min me if you can help
