It's unbranded and unlocked. Unbranded meaning no logo on start-up and unlocked. I'm selling it because my girlfriend just broke up with me and I was going to give this to her but nevermind now. She has everything of mine except this.

little bit off topic, but doesn't it mean that if a device is unbranded it is a demo unit and eventually the IMEI will be turned off? How did you get the phone?

I have a NIB 60g, but what is this about the IMEI being turned off? Makes me a little nervous. How did you get this phone?

@sabrewulf
I believe there was a situation like that discussed here on the forum. It involved promo devices with IMEI's diactivated by RIM.

I'm in no way implying anything like that is possible with the device beeing sold, but just advising for caution

It was purchased from Negri Electronics and it's not a demo. You can find it there...you can also find an unbranded and unlocked 8900 at ColorwarePC. So they are out there. Heck, this phone hasn't even been turned on with the exception of showing it in the picture.

As I don't usually sell stuff (Pack Rat), the only feedback I have is at: forums.modojo.com where I sold a Steel Battalion video game system for my brother when I went to Japan.
