Oh haha, I know, I went back and found it. Was being sarcastic with the last post. The quote in my previous post was copied directly out of your post.

Great post too! It's great to have all of that information in one location!

Totally awesome, thanks! Here are some changes I see on my 8820:

1. My preloaded pictures have been erased.
2. I got voice recording s/f
3. More speed.

Joginder, it's your media card. You can tell very quickly by removing it. If that fixes it try this:

Is anyone having issues with Calendar appointments showing up on the home screen of "Today" themes? I've tried a few different Today themes I have on my phone, and none of them will show the next two upcoming appointments on my home screen. Pulled battery, etc...

EDIT: New messages show up, and so do missed calls. Just not calendar appointments.

My phone whited out yesterday and needed a battery pull. I don't know what the problem was, but the media card has been formatted under 4.5.

Also, Possible stupid question: When people say Memory Leaks, are these things that could lead to texts being deleted if they go unchecked?

I'm having the same issue you are with calendar appts not showing for Today themes. Right after I upgraded they were there but now no longer appear.

Has anyone found a fix for this issue

If you have more than one email address set to your BB, change the default calendar setting.

On the BB: Options > Advanced > Default Services. Change the default calendar.

I only have my BB email address and my work email is synced. It must have something to do with the 4.5 OS because I installed PI and the appointments don't show up in there either after setting all the options to full sync

-----------
It appears that it has to do with the way 4.5 implements calendars. This link looks like a fix. <http://www.blackberryforums.com/general-8300-series-discussion-curve/141750-calendar-issue.html>

I'll try it when I get back to my home computer.

Thanks for the reply qPs1. I tried the steps mentioned in the above thread, minus the DM sync procedures. As JSanders suggested, I set my default calendar to the calendar most of my appointments are related to. All I did then was delete the service books associated with my email accounts (service books ending in CICAL). Once the service books were deleted, my appointments and calendar entries appeared on the home screen.

I decided to resend my service books and at that point the entries disappeared from my home screen. It doesn't seem to matter which calendar is select in "default services", none allow my appointments to properly display on the home screen. Only solution seems to be deleting the service books...

Any other suggestions? Once the service books are deleted, there is no default calendar option in the default services screen (which is to be expected).
