Default Mobylo HTML Mail Viewer

Please Login to Remove!

I notice that Handango is offering an HTML Email viewer by Mobylo as a free download. States it is v .7 and runs on 4.0.2. Could this be one of the two already out there? If it is and since Mobylo charges for its products I wonder whether it will continue to be free once v 1 is released.

Yeah, I noticed that earlier too. I think that is empower - and hey, they made their product description look just like ours too. Even trying to use the same looking screenshots...

Real original guys...

They are using the same screenshots. One of the screenshots clearly says "Empower Mail Viewer Options"

I don't think Mobylo would be stupid enough to leave the "Empower Mail Viewer Options" in unless there was some affiliation between the two.

My guess is either 1) Empower is part of Mobylo and they set up the site to get free beta testers and to get you familiar with the product so you would be an easier sell when v 1 came out (esp since there is already a similar viewer out there) or 2) Empower was just bought by Mobylo.

I put my money on 1 especially since other threads mention that Empower won't reply whether realease version will be free. Also the Mobylo is v.7 and runs on 4.0.2, the same as Empower

Then why not call it "Empower HTML Mail Viewer" then?

We'll just have to wait for ani to chime in on this.

I left it as that, I didn’t have the time, the energy or the desire to look into this any further.

So as MrKyoo said, Empower guys knew someone at Mobylo! That explains everything. I personally think its neither of the two above. So here is my point

3. Mobylo saw value in Empower suite, and these guys saw mobylo as a marketing vehicle..

Either way doesn't matters for me as long as I get it free..

If Mobylo is going to market it, don't count on it staying free. To the best that I can determine, no one at Empower (or is it Mobylo?) has yet answered that question despite it having been asked several times.
