I found a couple I liked but they covered the screen lock button on top which caused my Torch to keep locking up. I found one on Mobihand for about $20 and the top is open preventing the problem.

This is what I have. And you can't beat this price. $4.90 plus shipping.

Amazon.com - BlackBerry Torch Vertical Leather Holster.

I got the body glove and love it. I use the "kick stand" all the time on my desk.

Careful with that one. Look closely at the reviews - apparently its fraudulently claimed to be "OEM" for the 9800, and while the fit is apparently "ok" the magnet is not properly placed to put the Torch to sleep when its fully inserted.

Stock OEM BB sleeve at Bestbuy for $29, optional beltclip version add $10, got mine with no beltclip. Fit is perfect and extremely low profile, very thin but pretty high grade leather, quite stiff so excellent screen protection. Has a magnet for auto-lock. Just enough protection to put me at ease without any real added bulk.

I haven't had any problems with it, but yeah.. reading the reviews is always a good idea

I am surprised no one has mentioned the case(s) at pdair.com.

I am on my seventh BlackBerry model and always favoured the ones where you didn't have to take up two hands: one to hold the case and one to hold the BB from which you've just extracted it.

For previous BBs, I have favoured cases from Sena and Noreve, but after a lot of looking for my Torch, I found pdair.

The one I have is at:
PDair Leather Case for BlackBerry Torch 9800 - Flip Type (Black)
and is a very reasonable $28.00.
