Do you have a BB data plan? Once you have that and the service book is pushed to the device, the BB Browser should appear.

Wirelessly posted (8520 (5.0.0.411))

If you do have a data plan, when in the browser press menu then Options, General Properties and change the Default Browser to Internet Browser. It will automatically switch to hotspot browser when using WiFi.

on my t-mobile branded phone (payg), there is only one browser, but it operates as the bb browser when you have the bb plan working.

not sure how o2 do it but mine has three options, hotspot / t-mobile / web&walk. this can confuse some people (the latter is actually the bb browser), but AFAICT when you get the blackberry splash screen you are there.

should have no probs connecting to other internet apps when bb service is on either.

also, when bb browser is on, you have the option to change the homepage, & also masquerade as IE or firefox.
