Hi,

I just installed 5.18 and I am still having these reported items:

Issues (all happen in Summary view, I did not test/use other views):

1) All-Day Annual Events (anniversaries, birthdays) that I have on my BB Calendar still DON'T show up in 5.18. I have about 30+ all-day annual-events and none of them show up.

2) Appointment section is still highly spaced (between the lines) and I DON'T use the multi-line option, it is just one line per appointment and a wasteful space between each event to the next one. It looks like at least 5-7 pixels vs. 3-4 on the Tasks section.

3) Still double-date (two separate lines) on the Calendar section.
First line (the Calendar section header) shows: "Appointments-Mon Dec 17 (1)"
Second line (Calendar day label) shows: "Mon Dec 17"
Quite wasteful, we already know the day and date from the Calendar Section Header.
I understand that if you want to present multiple days in one view it is important but if only one day is displayed then it is just waste of precious screen real-estate.

Is it just me, does anyone else see these issues?

Edit:
I just tested the gradient settings and it is still not consistent on mine:
1) World Clocks shows the whole section as one big gradient (and not just the header as in Appointments)
2) Tasks only shows up as gradient when there are no tasks (pick a day with no tasks), but if there are tasks then it shows up as solid color on mine.

crs,

Just downloaded the new V5.18.

> Really like the way the new multi-line calendar items are displayed - great work.
> Can we do multi-line for tasks? Please?
> Still seeing the task description overrun into the due date.

JeffW,

go to main BB screen then settings/options/security options/application permissions. Set pockeday and pocketday lists to Allow for everything.

Default Issue OS 4.1, version 5.18

crs,

The new version is working fine! One issue:
- Map icon in rss feed-window disappears after scrolling over
- Selecting an appointment doesn't open the details in calendar

Thanks, jannock

I like the satellite addition, but is there any way we could get a link to a moving radar? I use this site presently for Chicago area radar.

Weather Underground (Weather Underground (Mobile)) has an excellent moving radar that displays well on a BlackBerry.

nice radar addition - anyway to get weather alerts? - might be pushing my luck but would it be possible to view radar within Pday?

5.18 seems a little more sluggish to me and I get some null errors often.

Thanks for the update

For example, when I completely escape out of PocketDay and then go to the applications screen to re-run it, it takes 45 seconds to get it started again. The ribbon still takes way too long - 30 seconds or so to switch between applications (making the feature unusable). Sometimes when I go into unread messages, delete them all, and then escape back to PocketDay, I have a 30 second delay.

Would have also liked to see more options to assign key mappings (10 is just not enough).

BINGO! Found the defect! CRS sent me a tool to reset all of my settings which allowed me to troubleshoot which setting is causing the delay. The little booger is under Gerneral - Today Screen. If you set the "Show Cal # days ahead" as 0, there's no delay. As soon as you start setting it beyond 0, you will see the delay. It appears that the larger the number is, the longer the delay. (I had it set at 7.)

CRS - it's great to be able to see 7 days out; can you please take a look at this and see what you can do? Thanx.

I get an "invalid COD" error when I try to download. OS 4.3.0.71 (Sprint release) on my VZW Pearl.

"Download Failed" appears after the download completes. Clicking details displays: "907 Invalid COD."

I had that also for the earlier beta releases and never could get it to work but this one downloaded the first time. Never really got an answer on how to download it.

Thanks, Buckeye.

Oh well...if someone from PocketDay can help, I'd like to give this app a look.

I don't suppose anyone can post some screen-shots of the updated version?

Default PD - Add To ....

I'm a very long time user of PocketDay and PD Lists. Love them both. One irritating thing for me is the extra menu entries that it adds (PD - Add to Calendar, PD - Add as Todo, Create PD List Task).

Is there a way to turn these off? If not, can this be added to the Setting / General options?

Great product - looking forward to what's next!

I'd like to see them replaced with "Inject into todoMatrix" and "Inject into ideaMatrix"!

Default Delete Issue

I don't want to double post but as there are two posts going on, one for PD and one for Empower, are any of you seeing the delete problem/issue I have mentioned in the link below?
