Default Easy question about mailboxes

Please Login to Remove!

Hey people, I am not a blackberry user myself, I just maintain the exchange server that houses the blackberry enterprise server. However, as such, maintenance of the phones is now my problem.
So, here is the issue, one of our users is getting mail from our BES and some other web based email. On the device, the web based mail goes to it's own mailbox but also shows up in the main mailbox. The mail sent from our BES only shows up in the main mailbox for the device. What our user wants is to have a secondary mailbox setup like his webmail that only shows the emails coming from the company. Alternately, is there a way not to show his 3rd party email in the main box.
The device is a 7130g if that makes a difference.

There is not a way to, natively, filter out messages from the main Messages folder. It will hold all messages (SMS, MMS, e-mail) by default. Check the FAQ here, the third topic: BES Users FAQ - BlackBerryFAQ

There is a new program called Empower BES Mailbox that will only show the BES mail in the folder. It is a third-party application.

lol, thanks for the answer. It's incredible how crippled this stuff is. One wonders why they don't correct such obvious feature holes.

Crippled? I guess from your point of view, perhaps so. If you ever begin to use such a device, you might discover how freeing they are.
