...low-level network connection. Would you like to allow this?
Been getting this on my 8320 with various applications, but I never saw it before with my Pearl, or earlier devices.
Example: Opera Mini (latest beta).
I have set the application permissions all to allow for the offending applications, but it still nags me. I've even set the default application permissions all to allow and still no luck.
Anyone else seeing this or have a fix?

I get the same prompt from the program (Opera Mini Beta) every time as well, despite having reset the prompts and allowing everything. Not sure what is causing it.

I am getting the same with a lot of Google apps on my 8310. I have my permissions set to Allow as well. Pretty frustrating everytime I go to Google search, I get prompted. Any fixes?

I have the same low level request form Opera every time I start the program and I can't find an explanation either.

This is a "third party application" problem. I have a theory that it mostly affects people that have recently upgraded their OS system, or just have a fairly new OS. That would mean the newer rim OS systems are just a little more unfriendly to third party apps and are requiring last minute approval before actual connection to the internet.
This is just a theory, and I would love to hear anyone's input that would help to prove or disprove this.

Go to Options - Security Options - Firewall and enable it. You will get one initial firewall nag when you open opera but after that you wont get the contant nags anymore, same with the other apps. If you are using Flipside you have to diable the firewall to get the album covers however...
If you use Jive Talk you wont like this solution...
