I have an 8700V from Vodafone Germany and I am running OS 4.2.1.101 multilangage!

When the keyboard is locked I cannot unlock the keyboard via the trackwheel. When I scroll to and press UNLOCk with the trackwheel, I get a message to press * and green phone key!!

Is there a solution for this bug or how can I solve this??

I believe this has been discussed before. This is the behavior of the 4.2 OS and there isn't a way to change it.

Why use the wheel? Just start typing the password.

Well i find this new * and call button feature to unlock the phone very inconvenient. I don't use a password, i use the lock when i have it in my pocket. I used to be able to unlock with my thumb! Isn't this blackberry supposed to make life easier?

Use the Standby mode instead. I'm just assuming you don't have a 7290 like your profile states.

how? mute button just mutes the phone
