After turning on, the hour glass spins for like 3 min. It also puts all the default pics back in the pictures folder. I have to delete the flowers, water, lillies and all that crap over again. Is this normal?

Yes. Everytime you reset the BB, all the default pictures unfortunately reappear.

Reset meaning turn off and back on? If so, that's BS.
