Hey bobhammer, how are you doing? I had the same issue. One of the Mod JSanders suggest to try wap.ebay.com

Scroll down to Emulation Mode: choose Microsoft IE.

Any help?

I tried the above but don't see the option 'emulation mode'.

I am on OS 4.2.2171, AT&T unlimited data with my Curve 8320.

There is a download I want (EveryHour) that seems to only be
available on a wap site (or is that via a wap browser?)

Any ideas how I can get this app via OTA?

Are you typing wap.berryblow.com into the browser address bar?

It worked fine for me with the BlackBerry browser set on BlackBerry for the emulation mode.

Did you check your emulation mode?

With the Browser open, press the Menu button and select Options. Then select Browser Configuration and scroll down to Emulation Mode.

Thanks!

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 8310)

Why don't you just use the WAP browser instead, that will be sure to work.

Default Wap Browser

Where (on the BB menu) will I find the wap browser?

What does that icon look like?

Thanks again!

Use the BlackBerry emulation. That way the webpage will know that you are using a BlackBerry to access the page.

There's no straightforward answer. It depends on your intent. If you always want the mobile version of a site (if available) then choose BB emulation. If you want the full version choose IE emulation. I'm not entirely sure what the real world differences are with the other emulation modes but presumably Netscape will also get you the full version while Openwave is another WAP option and MS Pocket IE is another mobile option.
