I noticed you've left the buttons in the open, rather than putting them under case buttons like the silicone case available from VZW, etc. That may make them less likely to be pressed in error...could be a good result.

Your case also allows access to the micro-SD card door, which some may prefer.

Can you confirm that you have a cut-out on top for the second speaker opening, I can't tell from the pictures.

Also...sorry, but I have to ask. Any ETA on an extended life battery that will fit in the existing battery door for the Pearl? I would love to have that as an option for trips when I'm going to be out and about more than usual.

You may already be aware of this, but Seidio makes an extended life battery (1250mAH) for the 8100 but it requires a slightly enlarged battery cover (included,with speaker cutout) because it's slightly thicker than the EOM battery. I suspect that will be the case with the 8130 providing they get around to making one. So it probably won't fit into the rubberized slim case they are selling now, just be aware of that before you buy the case (like I did). They didn't offer a discount on the new case to those (like me) who bought the original rubberized case. My .02 on the Seidio case is that it's really slim, so if keeping the pearl small is what you want it's great. Not a lot of protection from drops. Of course you need a screen protector to go with it (Seidio makes the best one I've ever seen, indestuctable). The case is fragile, the clips on mine busted in about 9 months (my wife used it). If you take it off much (to pull the battery) don't count on it lasting a long time. That's all I have to say!

Thanks... I like my silicone case so I've decided to stick with it for now. Too lazy to change. ;)

I don't need the extended battery, really, but I'm in the compulsive collecting phase of new-toy ownership.

When is the holster for the skinned 8130 going to be available? There is already one for a skinned 8100 - and the specs of the phones are so close it appears that it would work. Has anyone tried this??? In desperate need of a skinned holster!
